More Than Money 2024

At the end of each year, we bring you the latest news from inside CJM’s office.  The spirit of the season has us shift our focus from portfolio management and financial projections to celebrate all the wonderful things that happened this year, since we all know life is about more than money.

More the Merrier

We are thrilled to have added three team members to the CJM family throughout the year.  They each bring unique experience and knowledge to our team that compliments and enhances our strengths. We asked them to share a few thoughts about their experience with CJM so far, read below for their answers.

DeAnna Williams – I have been in the finance industry for over 12 years, and I am so thankful for this opportunity that found me in the form of CJM! Helping clients achieve their financial goals is great, but the added benefit of working at a firm like CJM is the close-knit work environment! I look forward to continuing to be a part of CJM’s growth and success!

Christopher Garner – During my time at CJM I have witnessed the dedication to quality client service. The CJM Team works collectively to meet the needs of clients. My Financial Planning experience has aided me in offering support as a new member of the Operations Team. I look forward to using my experience to provide you with quality service!

A
nthony Reese – Working here at CJM is both, a pleasure and privilege. The team is fantastic. The workplace relaxing. There’s so much support and dedication to meeting and exceeding expectations

Days of Service

CJMers participated in Operation Backpack and the Holiday Toy Collection Day in support of the Northern Virgnia Family Service organization. We really enjoyed volunteering at these events to benefit the children of our community.

Celebrating 35 Years at CJM – Trudy Rupp: Loyalty, Laughter and Love

If you were lucky enough to cross paths with Trudy Rupp over the last 35 years here at CJM, you almost certainly would remember!!  Trudy is sharp, witty, caring and just plain fun to be around.  Her smile lights up the room and her laughter warms your heart.  Over those many decades, Trudy has built lasting friendships with CJM clients and her CJM colleagues, and she has helped CJM as a financial planning firm stay true to its mission of putting their clients first.  Trudy has decided that the time has come to transition gracefully into retirement here at the end of 2024.

To say that we will miss her is the understatement of a lifetime.  Trudy Rupp is an absolute legend in the halls (and Zoom calls) of CJM!  We truly admire her dedication to the clients, the team and the industry.  Her legacy of loyalty, laughter, and love will live on for decades and hopefully inspire future team members for years to come.   Thank you, Trudy – from the bottom of our hearts!
